Strolling through the trees, I chanced upon a mesmerizing mountain lake as motionless and reflective as a mirror. Instead of seeing my own reflection, I was aware of seeing the harmonious, tranquil, quiet and peaceful aspects of myself. This photo is my representation of that still, calm and tranquil place we inhabit when meditating or engaged in reflective activities such as hiking, kayaking, catch-and-release fly-fishing or sunrise yoga. Even in the flurry of our busy daily lives we can ‘pause’, lift our gaze and discover stillness in a beautiful azure sky, stable tree, perched bird or a beloved potted plant.
