Wetlands are a great place to find inspiration with the diversity of the wildlife, plant life, and scenery. Stories abound in every captured photo. This particular one holds a variety of stories. There is the contrast of the old and the new that can be equated to leaving things behind to allow space for the new to enter our lives. There is the separation of the one reed on one side of the frame with the two reeds on the other side of the frame. This is where my imagination was sparked to tell the story of friendship, groups, inclusion and exclusion. - Kailee Churcher
